Description
The Firethorn 'Orange Star' (Pyracantha coccinea) is an upright, branched garden plant with decorative, orange-coloured, round fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces white flowers arranged in umbrella clusters in June. The Firethorn 'Orange Star' also has shiny, leathery, lanceolate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to around 1 metre wide. The Firethorn 'Orange Star' makes no particular demands on the soil.
