Description
The Firethorn 'Red Cushion' (Pyracantha coccinea) is an upright, flat, branched small shrub with decorative, red, round fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces white flowers arranged in umbrella clusters in June. The Firethorn 'Red Cushion' also has shiny, leathery, lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 1.5 m wide. The Firethorn 'Red Cushion' makes no particular demands on the soil.
