Description
The Firethorn 'Sunny Star' (Pyracantha coccinea) is an upright, branched shrub with decorative, golden-yellow, round fruits that stay on for a very long time. In June, it produces white flowers arranged in umbrella clusters. The Firethorn 'Sunny Star' also has shiny, leathery, lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.25 m and is approx. 1.5 m wide. The Firethorn 'Sunny Star' makes no particular demands on the soil.
