Description
The Firethorn 'Soleil d´Or' (Pyracantha coccinea) is a branched, upright shrub with decorative, golden-yellow, round fruits that stay on for a very long time. In June, it produces white flowers arranged in umbrella clusters. The Firethorn 'Soleil d´Or' also has glossy, leathery, lanceolate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to around 1.5 metres wide. The Firethorn 'Soleil d´Or' makes no particular demands on the soil.
