Description
The Chinese pear 'Benita' (Pyrus pyrifolia) produces golden yellow, firm and juicy fruits. They are round and have a sweet flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from August. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its upright growth, the Chinese pear 'Benita' grows to around 3 m high and 3.5 m wide.
