Description
The Common pear 'Clapps Liebling' (Pyrus communis) produces yellow-red, large, medium-firm and juicy fruits. They have a sweet and sour flavour. Loose, loamy soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from August. Their white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its conical and overhanging growth, the Common pear 'Clapps Liebling' grows to around 5 metres high and 4 metres wide.
