Description
The Common pear 'Beech Hill' (Pyrus communis) is a pyramidal, slender small tree with decorative, amber-coloured fruit. It produces white flowers arranged in corymbs from April to May. The Common pear 'Beech Hill' also has glossy, leathery, egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with loose, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and is around 7 metres wide.
