Description
The Chinese pear 'Nijisseiki' (Pyrus pyrifolia) produces yellow, large, juicy and crunchy fruits. They are round and have a sweet flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from September. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. The Chinese pear 'Nijisseiki' grows upright to around 6 metres high and 3 metres wide.
