Description
The Chinese pear 'Shineseiki' (Pyrus pyrifolia) produces golden yellow, medium-sized, juicy and crunchy fruits. They are round and have a sweet, aromatic flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from the end of August. Their white flowers are a beautiful sight. The Chinese pear 'Shineseiki' grows upright to around 4 metres high and 3.5 metres wide.
