Description
The Willow-leaved pear (Pyrus salicifolia) is an overhanging, picturesque small tree that produces white flowers arranged in corymbs. They appear from the end of April to May. These produce green, pear-shaped fruits. The Willow-leaved pear also has matt, lanceolate, silver-grey leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 7 metres and is around 4 metres wide.
