Description
These produce brown, oval fruits. The Scarlet oak 'Splendens' also bears shiny, egg-shaped, medium green leaves. Its bark is dark grey and smooth. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 18 metres and grows to a width of approx. 12 metres.
