Description
The Chinese evergreen oak (Quercus myrsinifolia) is an upright small tree that produces greenish flowers. These produce dark brown, elongated fruits. The Chinese evergreen oak also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. The purple-red shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location with lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 8 metres and grows to a width of approx. 8 metres.
