Description
The Loquat leaf oak 'Maya' (Quercus rhysophylla) is a large pyramidal shrub that produces yellow-green flowers. They appear from May to June. The Loquat leaf oak 'Maya' also has shiny, lanceolate, dark green leaves. The red-brown shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 10 metres and grows to around 7 metres wide.
