Description
The Cork oak (Quercus suber) is a very popular, evergreen container plant that can produce green fruit if well cared for. Its decorative flowers appear from April to May. The dark green, glossy leaves are egg-shaped. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained and nutrient-rich soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Cork oak reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 2 m wide.

Leaves
The evergreen leaves of Cork oak are dark green, glossy, egg-shaped. Cork oak turns bright orange-yellow in autumn.
