Description
The Spanish oak 'New Madrid' (Quercus texana) is a broad, pyramidal large tree with decorative, light brown, oval fruits. It produces yellow flowers from April to June. The Spanish oak 'New Madrid' also has egg-shaped, green-red leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 25 metres and grows to a width of around 10 metres. The Spanish oak 'New Madrid' makes no particular demands on the soil.
