Quercus velutina - Plug/Celgrown

Description
The Black oak (Quercus velutina) is a broad, egg-shaped garden plant that produces golden-yellow flowers. They appear in May. These produce brown fruits. The Black oak also has shiny, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. Its bark is dark grey. In a sunny to semi-shady location with calcareous, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of around 30 metres.
