Description
With its green leaves, the Greater spearwort (Ranunculus lingua) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for use in containers, bee pastures, pond edges, streams and ponds. Golden yellow flowers appear from June to July. It prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Greater spearwort is well tolerant of frost. The upright, runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 1 metre.
