Description
The Rhododendron (Rhododendron carolinianum) produces a veritable sea of flowers in pink or white from late April to early May. This upright, bushy, compact growing shrub usually reaches a height of 0.8 - 1.2 metres and a width of 0.8 to 1.2 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron is well tolerant of frost.
