Description
The Rhododendron 'Scarlet Wonder' (Rhododendron repens) produces a veritable sea of red flowers from the beginning of May to the end of May. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This flat, compact growing shrub usually reaches a height of 40 - 60 cm and a width of 0.8 to 1.3 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and lime-free soil create optimal conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Scarlet Wonder' is well tolerant of frost.
