Description
The Soft rhododendron 'Spek´s Brilliant' (Rhododendron molle) produces a veritable sea of orange-red flowers from mid-May to early June. Its deciduous foliage is medium green. This upright, broad-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.2 m and a width of 1 to 1.2 m. A semi-shady (to shady) location and well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich, acidic soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Soft rhododendron 'Spek´s Brilliant' is well tolerant of frost.
