Rhododendron (AK) 'Gibraltar' - P9

Description
The Yellow azalea 'Gibraltar' (Rhododendron luteum) produces a veritable sea of copper-orange flowers from the end of May to mid-June. Its deciduous foliage is medium green. In autumn, the foliage turns purple-red. This compact growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 metres and a width of 1.5 to 2 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create optimal conditions for healthy growth. The Yellow azalea 'Gibraltar' is well tolerant of frost.
