Description
The Yellow azalea 'Glowing Embers' (Rhododendron luteum) produces a veritable sea of orange-yellow flowers from the end of May to mid-June. Its deciduous foliage is medium green. In autumn, the foliage turns red. This upright, branching shrub usually reaches a height of 1.8 - 2 metres and a width of 1.6 to 1.8 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Yellow azalea 'Glowing Embers' is well tolerant of frost.
