Rhododendron (AK) 'Golden Eagle' - P9

Description
The Yellow azalea 'Golden Eagle' (Rhododendron luteum) produces a veritable sea of orange-coloured flowers from the end of May to mid-June. Its deciduous foliage is a medium green colour. In autumn, the foliage turns dark red. This upright, branching shrub usually reaches a height of 1.6 - 1.8 metres and a width of 1.4 to 1.6 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Yellow azalea 'Golden Eagle' is well tolerant of frost.
