Description
The Yellow azalea 'Homebush' (Rhododendron luteum) produces a veritable sea of carmine-red flowers from the end of May to mid-June. Its deciduous foliage is medium green. In autumn, the foliage turns purple-red. This upright, loosely growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1.3 - 1.7 metres and a width of 1.1 to 1.5 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Yellow azalea 'Homebush' is well tolerant of frost.
