Description
The Yellow azalea 'Nabucco' (Rhododendron luteum) produces a veritable sea of dark red flowers from early June to late June. Its deciduous foliage is medium green. In autumn, the foliage turns purplish-red. This upright, branched shrub usually reaches a height of 1.2–1.4 m and a width of 1 to 1.2 m. A semi-shaded (to shaded) position and humus-rich, lime-free soil provide optimal conditions for healthy growth. The Yellow azalea 'Nabucco' is highly frost-hardy.
