Description
The Japanese azalea 'Directeur Moerlands' (Rhododendron mollis x sinensis) produces a veritable sea of golden yellow flowers in May. Its deciduous foliage is medium green. This upright-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1.2 - 1.5 m and a width of 1 to 1.2 m. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Japanese azalea 'Directeur Moerlands' is well tolerant of frost.
