Description
The Yellow azalea 'Daviesii' (Rhododendron luteum) produces a veritable sea of creamy white flowers from mid-May to the end of June. Its deciduous foliage is dark green. In autumn, the foliage turns dark red. This broad, loose-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1.2 - 1.4 metres and a width of 1.4 to 1.6 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Yellow azalea 'Daviesii' is well tolerant of frost.
