Description
The Swamp azalea 'Soir de Paris' (Rhododendron viscosum) produces a veritable sea of light pink flowers from the end of May to mid-June. Its deciduous foliage is a medium green colour. This upright, bushy, broad, dense, compact growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1.2 - 2 metres and a width of 1.6 to 2.2 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Swamp azalea 'Soir de Paris' is well tolerant of frost.
