Description
The Dwarf purple rhododendron 'Azurika' (Rhododendron impeditum) produces a veritable sea of blue-violet flowers from the beginning of May to the end of May. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This dense, compact growing shrub usually reaches a height of 40 - 50 cm and a width of 70 to 80 cm. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Dwarf purple rhododendron 'Azurika' is well tolerant of frost.
