Description
The Rhododendron 'Bernstein' (Rhododendron) produces a veritable sea of amber-yellow flowers with brown markings from mid-May to early June. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This broad, spherical growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1 - 2 metres and a width of 1.5 to 2.5 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Bernstein' is well tolerant of frost.
