The Rhododendron 'Blattgold' (rhododendron) produces a veritable sea of purple-coloured flowers from early June to mid-June. Its evergreen foliage is yellow in colour. This upright, compact-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 60 - 80 cm and a width of 60 to 80 cm. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Blattgold' is well tolerant of frost.
