Description
The Rhododendron 'Dora Amateis' (Rhododendron carolinianum) produces a veritable sea of white flowers from early May to late May. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This low-growing, compact, rounded shrub usually reaches a height of 50–60 cm and a width of 0.8 to 1 m. A semi-shaded (to shaded) position and humus-rich, lime-free soil provide optimal conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Dora Amateis' is highly frost-tolerant.
