Description
The Rhododendron 'Dora Amateis' (Rhododendron carolinianum) produces a veritable sea of white flowers from the beginning of May to the end of May. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This flat, stocky, roundish growing shrub usually reaches a height of 50 - 60 cm and a width of 0.8 to 1 metre. A semi-shady (to shady) location and a humus-rich, lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Dora Amateis' is well tolerant of frost.
