Description
The Rhododendron 'Abendrot' (Rhododendron repens) produces a veritable sea of red flowers from April to May. This bushy, broad, dense-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 0.6 - 1 m and a width of 0.8 to 1.2 m. A semi-shady (to shady) location and lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Abendrot' is well tolerant of frost.
