Description
The Rhododendron 'Baden-Baden' (Rhododendron repens) produces a veritable sea of scarlet flowers from the end of April to mid-May. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This flat, compact, broad-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 50 - 60 cm and a width of 1 to 1.2 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Baden-Baden' is well tolerant of frost.
