Description
The Rhododendron 'Bengal' (Rhododendron repens) produces a veritable sea of red flowers in May. This dense, compact, rounded shrub usually reaches a height of 50 - 60 cm and a width of 1 to 1.2 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Bengal' is well tolerant of frost.
