Description
The Rhododendron 'Lee´s Dark Purple' (Rhododendron) produces a veritable sea of purple flowers with yellow-green markings from the end of May to mid-June. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This upright, bushy, broad-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1.5 - 2.5 metres and a width of 2 to 3 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Lee´s Dark Purple' is well tolerant of frost.
