Rhododendron luteum - 30-40 CM C10
Description
The Yellow azalea (Rhododendron luteum) produces a veritable sea of yellow flowers from mid-May to the end of June. Its deciduous foliage is medium green. In autumn, the foliage turns purple-red. This upright, bushy, broad, compact, branching shrub usually grows to a height of 2 - 3 m and a width of 2 to 3 m. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Yellow azalea is well tolerant of frost.
