Rhododendron molle - P9

Description
The Soft rhododendron (Rhododendron molle) produces a veritable sea of flowers in yellow, orange, pink or dark red from May to June. Its deciduous foliage is medium green. This upright, broad-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 2 - 2.5 metres and a width of 1.5 to 2.5 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich, acidic soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Soft rhododendron is well tolerant of frost.

Synonym
Synonyms (botanical): Azalea mollis, Rhododendron mollis.

Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Cut back frozen shoots to the healthy wood as soon as there is no longer any danger of frost.
