Description
The Rhododendron (Rhododendron roxieanum var. oreonastes) produces a veritable sea of white flowers from April to May. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This dense, compact growing shrub usually reaches a height of 0.8 - 1 m and a width of 70 to 90 cm. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron is well tolerant of frost.
