Description
The Rhododendron 'Wilgen´s Ruby' (Rhododendron) produces a veritable sea of carmine-red flowers with dark red markings from the end of May to mid-June. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This upright, broad-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 metres and a width of 1.5 to 2 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Rhododendron 'Wilgen´s Ruby' is well tolerant of frost.
