Description
The Yakushima rhododendron 'Tina Heinje' (Rhododendron yakushimanum) produces a veritable sea of pink flowers from late May to early June. This upright, broad-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 80 - 90 cm and a width of 1.5 to 1.7 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create the ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Yakushima rhododendron 'Tina Heinje' is well tolerant of frost.
