Description
The Yakushima rhododendron 'Pink Cherub' (Rhododendron yakushimanum) produces a veritable sea of pink-coloured flowers from May to June. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This bushy, broad, densely growing shrub usually reaches a height of 1.2 - 1.3 metres and a width of 1.3 to 1.5 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Yakushima rhododendron 'Pink Cherub' is well tolerant of frost.
