Description
The Jet bead (Rhodotypos scandens) is a broad, loose shrub with decorative, black fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces white, cup-shaped flowers from May to June. The Jet bead also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide. The Jet bead makes no particular demands on the soil.
