Description
The Alpine currant 'Schmidt' (Ribes alpinum) is an upright, dense, branched shrub that produces yellow-green flowers arranged in clusters. They appear from April to May. The Alpine currant 'Schmidt' also has roundish, medium green leaves. Its bark is dark brown and flaking. In a sunny to shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2 metres. The Alpine currant 'Schmidt' makes no special demands on the soil.
