Description
The Common redcurrant (Ribes rubrum) produces red berries. These have a sweet and sour flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from June. Its light green flowers are a beautiful sight.
