Description
The False acacia 'Appalachia' (Robinia pseudoacacia) is a broad, oval tree with decorative, reddish-brown, pod-shaped fruits that remain on the tree for a very long time. These exude a pleasant fragrance. In June, it produces creamy white flowers arranged in clusters. The False acacia 'Appalachia' also has pinnate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 20 metres. The False acacia 'Appalachia' makes no particular demands on the soil.
