Attention! The species Sagittaria latifolia is categorised as an invasive species in Switzerland and may not be traded, planted or otherwise distributed there. With its dark green leaves, the Wapato (Sagittaria latifolia) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for use in pots, pond edges, streams, ponds and bee pastures. White flowers appear from June to August. It prefers well-drained, loose soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Wapato is well tolerant of frost. The upright plant usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm.
