Description
The Creeping willow (Salix repens) is a flat, creeping, deciduous dwarf shrub with decorative, hairy, egg-shaped, grey leaves. The silver-white shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears yellow catkin-shaped flowers from April to May. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 1 m wide.

Synonyms (botanical): Salix arenaria, Salix argentea, Salix repens var. nitida, Salix repens var. argentea.
