The Autumn sage 'Amethyst Lips' (Salvia greggii) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces purple-white, lip-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from June to September. Its leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide.
